Tarkay had a very unique way of viewing the ladies in the cafe. They were elegant and fashionable. I can almost hear their quiet conversations and the music made by the tapping of the silver spoon against the delicate china. Then suddenly a burst of laughter from one table or another! It’s not so different nowadays, when we meet our friends at the corner coffee shop, sipping our favorite drink and having a casual conversation with smiles and laughter.
