I just received the portrait of my precious granddaughter, Ava. I am absolutely overwhelmed. Every brushstroke is beautiful! Just hung my lovely recreated portrait. I had two 50 year old photos of an ancestress’ painted portrait (1840). The portrait has disappeared over the years but Newport Brushstrokes was able to recreate it for me from two photos. The painting is accurate, with the rich colors and textures of the original with amazing detail. My 84 year old father who had seen the original many times during his youth, swears it is a duplicate of the original but better with better than original color and clarity. Newport Brushstrokes has allowed me to return my ancestress’ portrait to our family.

My husband and I were looking for a long time to have a painting done from our entire family (22 people). The four headmaster portraits are exceptional! Your artists have done a remarkable job in creating such true likenesses of these men for whom, in most cases, we had only a small photo as a visual reference. Allowing us to see the paintings during the process was so nice — even though the artists were all spot on, it gave us the opportunity to suggest modifications mid-course, should we need any. We’re so pleased to have these portraits in hand before the dedication of the school’s headmasters leadership gallery. I know it will mean so much to the families of the headmasters to see such a beautiful tribute to their fathers. Bram’s attention to this project has been equally masterful.
