Description

I wanted to convey something different with my portrait of such an iconic figure in pop culture. I left the eyes a bit overcast to show her inner turmoil. Also I was experimenting with textures within the image. I layered with various templates to build up an ethereal feeling around the figure and to give the effect of a tattooed surface. This is the first in a series using celebrities and this particular technique.
