First Shift

Description

A worker arrives early in the morning to begin reconstruction of a classic steam locomotive.

This is part of a series I undertook to show an evolution of style in how I interpret this classic mode of travel. Some of this series was even inspired by famous artists and their colour pallets.
I wanted to include a band of abstracted colour at the bottom of the image to offset the relatively conservative colours of the train and background.
