Canada is celebrating the 150th anniversary this year. It’s a country that celebrates multiculturalism and diversity. The art in Canada is an example of a visual mosaic  which shows how diverse of a country it is. The different styles of Canadian art include Aboriginal art, French Colonial Art, English Colonial Art, and more!

Here at Newport Brushstrokes, our Artists  have painted fantastic paintings of Canadian landscape and historic landmarks including artists like Redina Tili and Alexandre Evgrafov. Redina Tili painted artworks  Canadian landscape during the Fall season, when the leaves change into vibrant colours. Alexandre Evgrafov has painted artworks of the most famous landmark in Toronto, the CN Tower. Keithy Antoine, a Haitian-Canadian artist, has incredible artworks of Montreal landscapes such as Habitat 67, an architectural monument. To see more of our artists’ paintings of Canadian art, go to our Catalogues and Artists sections on our Website. The examples are numerous. We are very proud of our artists and we hope you enjoy it.

There is so much incredible art in Canada, especially in our museums nationwide include the Museum of Fine Arts in Montreal and the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa. Canadian art has a rich and diverse history, which reflects this wonderful country.
