Redina Tili (b.1970) is an established artist of Albanian origin. She creates and sells her own art at her uncle’s studio. It was by then, Tili had become an established artist. At age 14, Tili studies Drawing, Painting and Sculpture at the Art College of Tirana where she graduated in Classical Fine Arts. In 1990, she attended  Fine Art Academy of Tirana where she received a BFA Degree. In 1999, Tilli receives recognition for the same degree at the University of Toronto. She is the recipient of the“Onufri” award in 1995, making her the youngest to receive such an award. Redina Tili moved to Canada in the late 1990s.

 

Her oil paintings are inspired by Canada’s natural scenery of the fall season, as well as landscapes including an artwork entitled Manarola (a region in Italy). Tili uses vibrant colours in her oil paintings. Her oil paintings have styles that are similar Impressionist and Expressionist art works.She works mainly on commissioned art. A famous artwork includes President Obama’s First Inauguration in 2009, which was sold out by the thousands on the QVC shopping network. Her artworks can be found be in Canada, Europe, Asia and the United States in private art collections.

Redina Tili is musical artist, who’s especially well-known in Europe. She’s also a professional photographer, whose photographs are also inspired by Canada’s fall colours.
