The 4th of July is a time to celebrate the independence of the United States of America in 1776. The red, white and blue is often celebrated with barbecue and fireworks. Independence Day is also a day to look back on American history

Through the Photo to Canvas process, we can convert a photo of your favourite 4th of July memory either from a gathering with family and friends, or a vacation.  If you have pictures of your favourite city like New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, or Boston, send them to us! The same can be done with a picture of  famous American Landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty and Mount Rushmore. The landscape in America is so grand and beautiful. The possibilities are endless! We look forward to seeing your incredible pictures.

Here at Newport Brushstrokes, you can select artworks by American artists that can be turned into amazing reproductions. There are popular works from artists such as Grant Wood and Roy Lichtenstein. American art has evolved from Romantic to Contemporary. My favourite art movement from American art is Pop Art, from the Modern era, which started in the late 1950’s in the U.S.  American art represents American pop culture and an important shift in the art world. During the Modern era, New York City became the hub for art exhibitions and for new artistic styles.

America is filled with history, landscape and culture, worthy of being painted into a beautiful oil painting.

Happy 4th of July!
